
More local COVID flights

Two more Kelowna flights from earlier this month were recently identified as having carried a COVID-positive person.
On its regularly updated list of flights with COVID-19 onboard, the BC Centre for Disease Control has identified two recent WestJet flights that went through the Kelowna airport, on Dec. 9 and 11.
The Dec. 9 WestJet flight 188 from Kelowna to Calgary had a passenger on board who later tested positive the virus. The affected rows are Rows 1-4.
And a Dec. 11 WestJet flight 3342 from Calgary to Kelowna was also carrying someone with the virus. Affected rows include Rows 15-19.
There have been 22 identified flights in B.C. since Dec. 11 where a passenger later tested positive for the disease and a total of 48 impacted flights into or out of Kelowna since the pandemic began.
