Shock as man exposes himself outside Devon Lidl supermarket – Devon Live

A shopper was left stunned after a man ‘exposed himself’ outside Sidmouth’s Lidl supermarket yesterday evening (January 28).

The female customer exited the supermarket at around 7.30pm, and spotted the suspicious looking man next next to the trolley shelter.

The horrified customer said: ”He just pulled his pants down and started flopping his penis in the air.

“It looked like a discoloured tic-tac.”

The Lidl’s shopper said there were others who also witnessed the indecent act.

She said: ”I came out of the shop and saw people staring, I thought what is going on.

”I was in such shock, it is not something you expect to see when you come out from buying groceries.”

The customer says that another Lidl shopper who witnessed the incident were due to report it to the police.

She said: ”Nobody knew who he was, he looked like he was in his 30’s.

”God knows what was going through his head – but pure shock was going through mine.”

Following the incident, a spokesperson for Lidl said: ”We were sorry to hear of this incident.

”We would like to reassure customers that our store team will be checking the car park more frequently for any inappropriate behaviour, and if needed, contact the local authority for support.”

If you have any information about the incident, please contact Devon & Cornwall Police on non-emergency number 101.
