ameweek 22 of the Premier League season kicks off tonight, with four matches to offer plenty of drama up and down the table.
Sheffield United and West Brom are one of two early matches this evening, with Chris Wilder and Sam Allardyce both after a much-needed win in their respective relegation battles.
The second 6pm GMT kick-off sees Arsenal travel to Wolves as Mikel Arteta’s Gunners look for another victory to build on their recent results and momentum. Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves have had a tough campaign so far, and the manager badly needs a result at Molineux to ease the pressure.
There is still plenty of drama left this evening, with Manchester United aiming to bounce back from failing to win their last two League games as Southampton head to Old Trafford. Ralph Hasentuttl’s Saints are in something of a slump off the back of two straight defeats, but with United lacking confidence as well, it could be a cagey affair at the theatre of dreams.
Last but not least, Roy Hodgson takes Crystal Palace to St James’ Park to face Newcastle. Four points separate the two sides, and while they are both well clear of the relegation zone, three points for either would be most welcome ahead of a potentially gruelling run-in.
