Live Updates: Arkansas 26 – Ole Miss 21, 4th Quarter – 247Sports

For the first time since 2016, the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-2 SEC) have won an SEC game in Fayetteville. The Hogs defeated the Ole Miss Rebels (1-3 SEC), 33-21 Saturday afternoon. Razorback cornerback Hudson Clark’s third interception of the game sealed the deal with 1:28 remaining in the game.

Rebels’ quarterback Matt Corral threw six interceptions in the matchup, a feat that helped the Hogs mightily. The Razorback offense scored just two touchdowns on the day, a 7-yard catch by Treylon Burks and a 1-yard touchdown rush by Rakeem Boyd, both of whom did not play last week against Auburn.

The Hogs offense was paced by Burks’ 11 catches for 137 yards and a score. He also ran four times for 46 yards on the afternoon. Grant Morgan led the Razorback defense with 19 tackles, 3 TFL’s and a pick-six.

Arkansas shut the Rebels out in the first half, 20-0. Defense was the story for the Hogs as Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral lost a fumble and threw two interceptions in the first two quarters.

The third quarter was plagued with sloppy play as the two teams combined for four turnovers during a 14-play sequence. Ole Miss managed to score a touchdown in the quarter and cut the Razorback lead to 20-7.

The Rebels scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to cut the Arkansas lead to 26-21, but an incredible touchdown grab by Burks and the pick-six by Morgan with 3:07 remaining closed the coffin on Ole Miss.
