Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health reports no further deaths and eight new cases – Belfast Live

The Department of Health has today reported no further deaths relating to Coronavirus.

In their daily dashboard update on Tuesday, the Department also indicated that the number of positive tests for the virus here has risen by 8 to 5,996 in the last 24 hour reporting period.

This was since the last report yesterday that the number had risen to 5,988.

According to the report, 90 people here have tested positive in the last seven days. Newry, Mourne and Down have recorded the highest number of positive cases in the last seven days, with 27 people testing positive for the virus.

To date, there have been 146,962 individuals tested for the virus, and a total of 556 Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland.
