Deaths from coronavirus across Liverpool City Region rose by nine today, according to the latest NHS figures.
Of the deaths recorded in today’s update, seven came from Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, bringing the harrowing total to 130 in the first three weeks of the month.
A further one death was recorded at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital and one in Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Across England, a further 76 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 31,819.
The UK has recorded 19,790 more coronavirus cases and 151 further deaths in the latest 24-hour period, new figures show.
