An Air France jet made an unexpected stop at St. John’s International Airport yesterday.
The Airbus E3-30, en route from Paris to St. Martin in the Caribbean, was diverted due to a medical emergency.
130 passengers and crew stayed overnight in St. John’s.
Lisa Bragg, Director of Business Development and Marketing with the St. John’s International Airport Authority says all safety protocols were followed.
She says all passengers underwent the proper health processing and will be leaving at 11:30 this morning.
Passengers were bused to the Delta Hotel while the flight crew stayed at the Sheraton.
